Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 144-20 Liberty Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located between Pinegrove Street and Inwood Street, the interior lot is closest to the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue-JFK subway station, serviced by the E, J, and Z trains. Lakhwinder Multani under the 144-20 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 69-foot-tall development will yield 59,220 square feet, with 24,031 square feet designated for commercial space and 11,332 square feet for residential space. The building will have 98 units, however it is unclear how many of those will be residential and how many are allocated to the transient hotel. The commercial component will also consist of a banquet hall. The concrete-based structure will have a cellar and 19 enclosed parking spaces.

Manish Savani of M.S. Savani Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in August 2019 for the one-story warehouse on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
