Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 645 East 9th Street in Alphabet City, Manhattan. Located between Avenue B and Avenue C, the through lot is a short walk to the First Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train, and less than a block away from Tompkins Square Park. Center Development Corporation is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 10,830 square feet, with 9,087 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 908 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Goshow Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the unlicensed parking lot on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
