Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 9956 Third Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Located between 100th Street and 101th Street, the lot is near the Bay Ridge-95th Street subway station, serviced by the R train. Igor Nestor under The Narrows LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 61,200 square feet, with 39,774 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 40 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 994 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 34 enclosed parking spaces.
Simino Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in September 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
