Permits have been filed for a seven-story hotel building at 2646 East 18th Street in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Located between Jerome Avenue and Voorhies Avenue, the lot is near the Sheepshead Bay subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Nehalkumar Gandhi under the 57 Sheffield LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 23,782 square feet, with 19,223 square feet designated for commercial space. The building will have 72 hotel rooms, with an average unit scope of 266 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 34-foot-long rear yard.

Michael Kang Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
