Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 183 Columbia Street in the Columbia Street Waterfront District, Brooklyn. Located between Degraw Street and Kane Street, the lot is closest to the Bergen Street subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Hiu M. Cheung of 183-185 Columbia St. LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 10,848 square feet, with 9,702 square feet designated for residential space and 1,146 square feet for commercial space. It will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 970 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar.

Chang Hwa Tan of Tan Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in April of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
