Permits have been filed for a six-story apartment building at 63-86 Wetherole Street in Rego Park, Queens. Located between 63rd Road and 64th Road, the lot is three blocks south of the 63 Drive-Rego Park subway station, serviced by the M and R trains. Jie Li under the 2018 Li Lin Realty, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot tall development will yield 7,280 square feet, with 6,248 square feet designated for residential space. It will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 781 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar.
Chi F. Lau Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in January of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
