Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 420 Gates Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Located between Marcy Avenue and Nostrand Avenue, the interior lot is five blocks south of the Bedford-Nostrand Avenues subway station, serviced by the G train. Igal Reihanian of Tower Real Estate Investments is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot tall development will yield 49,922 square feet, with 29,268 square feet designated for residential space and 567 square feet for community facilities. It will have 44 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 665 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 22 self-park parking spaces and a 30-foot long rear yard. Other amenities include a common recreation space on the second floor and bicycle storage on the first floor.

Alexander Zhitnik of Z Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in January 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
