Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 21 Meserole Street, in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Union Avenue and Lorimer Street, the new development is situated close to Sternberg Park. Two blocks south is the Broadway subway station serviced by the G train, and three blocks to the west is Hewes Street station, serviced by the J and M trains. Chang Qing Lin of 97-101 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The concrete building will yield 31,648 square feet on the interior block site, with 16,495 square feet dedicated to residences. 24 rentals units will be created, averaging 687 square feet each in the 55-foot tall structure. 5,609 feet will be dedicated to community facilities in the cellar. The application includes 14 off-street parking spaces.

Fran Huang of HPL Engineering P.C. is listed as the architect of record.

No demolition permits have been filed as of yet. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
