Ismael Leyva Architects Reveals New Renderings for 144-74 Northern Boulevard in Flushing, Queens

Rendering of 144-74 Northern Boulevard

New renderings offer another look for Ismael Leyva’s forthcoming mixed-use development in Flushing, Queens. Located at 144-74 Northern Boulevard, the seven-story building is currently under construction with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2019.

From the ground up, the development will support retail components on the entire first floor of the building. Rentals positioned on the second through seventh levels will range from studio to two bedroom accommodations. Out of 103 units, 31 will be marketed as affordable homes.

The second floor of the building will house amenity areas including a fitness center, a multi-purpose lounge, in addition to community facility offices.

As previously reported by YIMBY, building permits had been filed in 2015 under a different management and design team. It was to be developed by Oz Levi and designed by Anthony Morali Architects. The building proposed was to be 12 stories and 149 feet tall, creating 120 units averaging 470 square feet apiece.

The current iteration of the project is now being developed by Sky View Northern Companies.
