Since 2010, Long Island City, Queens has given rise to nearly 50 new hotels. Permits filed by developer Dun Zhang reveal yet another large-scale project coming to the neighborhood, at 37-10 10th Street.

Filings indicate a 15-story, 385-key hotel on a 20,000 square foot corner lot. The hotel will replace an existing warehouse with nearly 100,000 square feet of short-term accommodations.

Architect Gene Kaufman, a frequent collaborator with hotel developers across New York City, will oversee design of the new property.
