As construction nears full completion at 19 Dutch in Manhattan’s Financial District, today, the developer has officially launched leasing for the luxury residential tower. Designed by New York’s GKV Architects with SLCE serving as the architect of record, the gleaming, glass-clad structure soars 770 feet above Lower Manhattan.

The building’s 483 rentals range from studio to two-bedroom accommodations with interior layouts and materials designed by international powerhouse Colum McCartan. With a focus on high-end, natural materials, each residence is textured in Renaissance-inspired, cerused oak flooring and quartz countertops with modern finishes and smart-home technologies.

Future occupants will enjoy full access to a suite of amenities including a full-service fitness club, a communal, open-air sky lounge on the 64th floor, a demonstration kitchen featuring restaurant-level accouterments, a business center, a party room, and a curated library with a fireplace. Fresh renderings also reveal a dramatic 19-foot lobby with soaring columns, marble interiors, and raised wood paneling inspired by Dutch sensibilities.

“It’s striking moments, such as when residents first step into the building, that creates the impression of luxury,” said McCartan, the interior designer of 19 Dutch. “We sought out to innovate and create one-of-a-kind, art-directed spaces; from the custom design-centric elevator cabs that are Dutch-inspired to the small crafted and elevated details within the apartment corridors –the Dutch is truly in the details.”

“Our goal has been to deliver a building that stands apart from the rest and introduce a culturally-inspired community within,” said Melanie Flaherty, Vice President of Marketing at Carmel Partners, the developer of the project. “With its location, elevated design and lifestyle amenities, we’re delivering an edgy experience to renters who are looking for a refreshing and chic way of living in the excitement of the new Financial District.”

Pricing for residences starts in the low $3,000s, with Douglas Elliman Development Marketing serving as the exclusive leasing and marketing firm.
