Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 2524 Albemarle Road, in FlatbushDitmas Park, Brooklyn. The site is seven blocks away from the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Eleven blocks away is the Church Avenue station serviced by the B and Q trains. Aboksis Realty is responsible for the development.

The 51-foot tall structure will yield 4,320 square feet, for residential use. Six apartments will be created, averaging 720 square feet apiece, indicating rental use. Tenants will have a laundry room and accessory storage space in the cellar.

N.A. Design Studio will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits for the existing structure were filed in mid-February of this year. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. In no world is this a part of Ditmas Park. This is east of Ditmas and south of Lefferts. You could give it a new name or call it Flatbush.

  3. Being a native of brooklyn for about 50+ years it is amazing where they are putting these high price rentals , some of these locations are not as luxurious as they sound , be very careful where you purchase, do not look at the aesthetics of the building and think you will be safe around the general area you are advertising your “wealth” to be able to afford the rent
