Permits have been filed for a six-story hotel at 9114 5th Avenue, in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Fort Hamilton Triangle 95th Street subway station, end of the line for R trains. Bayridge Realty LLC will be responsible for the development.

The 65-foot tall structure will yield 19,700 square feet dedicated to the commercial building. The building will open up as a 63-key hotel, with a lobby and four parking spaces.

S M Tam Architect will be responsible for the design.

The lot is currently vacant, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Bay Ridge related to a six-story hotel. (How?)

  2. Lots of local opposition to this ‘hotel’. Could be a candidate for a new homeless shelter.

  3. Most likely a homeless shelter
