Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 1935 Bedford Avenue, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. The site is seven blocks away from the Parkside Avenue Subway Station at the corner of Prospect Park, serviced by the Q trains. The Winthrop Street Station is also six blocks away from the site, and serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Bedford Holdings JV will be responsible for the development.

The 70-foot tall structure will yield 42,040 square feet of space, with 28,580 square feet dedicated to residential use, and 3,500 square feet for medical use.

44 apartments will be created, averaging 650 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have access to 22 bicycle storage spaces, laundry room, storage space, and 22 parking spaces.

Studio Gallos will be responsible for the design, which will consist of an exterior featuring a mix of white and brown paneling. Balconies will also be interspersed, and offset slightly on each floor, adding an attractive metallic accent to the outside of the project.

Demolition permits have been filed, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.
