Permits have been filed for a three-story residence at 1050 East 3rd Street, in Midwood, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the Avenue I Station, serviced by the F trains. Five blocks away is the historic Washington Cemetery. An anonymous LLC will be developing.

The 35-foot tall house will yield 10,950 square feet of space. Similar-sized homes in the area are regularly marketed for $1.5 to $2 million. DJLU Architects will be responsible for the design.

The site is currently vacant. The estimated completion date has not been announced, but will likely be in two years.

Please pardon me for using your space: He takes the lead and then, following with his details. (Thank you Andrew Nelson)

  2. 11,000 square feet a mansion.

  3. So much for more density. Will this one family have ten-plus members? Then it makes some sense.

A dorm perhaps? No surprises please.
