252 West 40th Street: OTO Development has filed a slew of applications to begin construction on a recently filed 20-story and 290-room hotel building — totaling nearly 120,500 square feet — spanning 252-262 West 40th Street, in the Garment District. Helpern is designing, and an existing four-story building must first be demolished.

QUEENS:

67-11 Roosevelt AvenueApplications have been filed for a five-story and six-unit mixed-use building totaling 7,960 square feet — including 2,000 square feet of retail — at 67-11 Roosevelt Avenue, in Woodside. An existing two-story structure must first be demolished, and INM is designing.

STATEN ISLAND:

47 Trioka Way: J.K.S. Inc. has filed applications for a single-story and “10-unit contractor establishment” of 15,120 square feet at the vacant lot of 47 Trioka Way, in Charleston; Edward Lauria, of Lauria Associates, is listed as the architect.

228 Arbutus Avenue: Ashland Building has filed applications for a two-story and single-family mansion of 5,379 square feet at 228 Arbutus Avenue, in Prince’s Bay; the site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in January, and Calvanico Associates is designing.
