Work continues on 237 West 54th Street. One year ago, the project would have been the most prominent on the block, but that’s obviously not the case today–and that’s a good thing! Although detailed renderings have yet to be released, the Gene Kaufman-designed Hilton is sure to underwhelm compared to its new neighbors. At least the blank wall on the lower portion of 1715 Broadway will be covered… unlike the blank wall on the western side of 237 West 54th.
