Two More Six-Family Buildings Filed on Walworth Street at Nos. 214 & 218, Bed-Stuy

Taron Walworth LLC has filed for two more four-story, six-unit residential buildings at the vacant lots at 214 and 218 Walworth Street, in northwestern Bedford-Stuyvesant. The same developer filed applications for two similar buildings at Nos. 212 and 222 yesterday, and each building will measure nearly 4,000 square feet. Julien Flander is designing, and former two-story structures were demolished at both 214 and 218 Walworth in 2006.



516 Herkimer Street

10 Residential Units Planned for 516 Herkimer Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant

An LLC has filed applications for a new six-story, 10-unit residential building at 516 Herkimer Street, in south-central Bedford-Stuyvesant near Atlantic Avenue. The building will measure 11,810 square feet, and Platonic Solids Architecture is designing. An existing single-story structure must first be demolished; demolition permits have yet to be filed.



7 Bryant Park

29-Story Office Building 7 Bryant Park Wraps Up Construction, Midtown

The 29-story, 470,500 square-foot office building dubbed 7 Bryant Park at 1045 6th Avenue, in Midtown, is wrapping up construction, per The Wall Street Journal. Exterior cladding is complete, and interior modeling is underway to accommodate the building’s owner, The Bank of China Ltd., which paid nearly $600 million for the Pei Cobb Freed & Partners-designed building in 2014. Construction began in 2013, and Hines and Pacolet Milliken Enterprises served as the tower’s developers.
