The 79-story residential skyscraper, 99 Hudson Street, is being designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by China Overseas America. Plaza Construction is in charge of building what is already the tallest tower in Jersey City and New Jersey.
Construction on 321 Warren Street, aka The Lively, has reached the eighteenth and final floor over downtown Jersey City. As of YIMBY’s last update back in early November, the mixed-use tower had just climbed above the double-height ground floor space, reaching the fifth floor. Three months later, the reinforced concrete structure is almost at its pinnacle. The building is being designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture and developed by LMC. There will be 217,000 square feet of interior space when completed.
When it comes to new construction in Jersey City’s Journal Square, no firm is more prominent than Kushner Real Estate Group, which has continued development of the massive Journal Squared complex with the recent ground-breaking of the project’s second skyscraper, now climbing above ground level. After topping-out at the end of 2018, 99 Hudson Street has become the tallest skyscraper in both Jersey City and all of New Jersey, standing 900 feet to its rooftop. The 79-story residential building will have 781 units with perfect uninterrupted views of the World Trade Center, the morning sun, and afternoon sunsets to the west. Perkins Eastman is the designer of the tower, while the developer is China Overseas America. Plaza Construction is the main contractor, while DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the structural engineer. Vidaris is in charge of the facade, which is now quickly making its way towards the crown.
321 Warren Street, aka the Lively, will be a mixed-use tower at the southeast intersection of Warren Street and Steubern Street, in Jersey City. The 217,000 square foot building broke ground this past June, and is now climbing past the ninth floor. Fogarty Finger Architecture is designing the 18-story tower while LMC is the developer. The entire building is being constructed with a reinforced concrete superstructure.
