The two lots back onto each other and are part of the Harlem Hospital Center, owned by NYC Health + Hospitals. The block-long complex currently houses six buildings. The one-story building located on 21 West 136th Street has a 60-foot street frontage and the Women’s Pavilion, a five-story building located on 22 West 137th Street has a 100-foot street frontage.

NYC Health + Hospitals, an agency that operates the city’s public hospitals, has filed applications for a two-story, 18,468-square-foot medical building at 155 Vanderbilt Avenue, located on the corner of Tompkins Avenue in Clifton. That’s a neighborhood along Staten Island’s North Shore. The facility will be geared towards women’s health, according to the Schedule A. Brooklyn-based MJCL Architects is the architect of record. The 16,000-square-foot corner lot is currently occupied by a single-story commercial building. Demolition permits were filed last month.
