$32.7M Rehabilitation Project at State Route 112 in Long Island Now Complete

Improvements to a 1.7-mile stretch of State Route 112 in Suffolk County, Long Island are now complete. The $32.7 million project spans from Medford to Coram and includes wider travel lanes, new turning lanes at key intersections, pull-off areas for buses, new drains for stormwater runoff, and a landscaped median. Additional improvements include dedicated bike lanes in both directions, new sidewalks, curb ramps, reflective pavement markings, and crossing signals to enhance safety for pedestrians.
