Permits have been filed for a 13-story mixed-use building at 133-34 36th Road in Flushing, Queens. Located between College Point Boulevard and Prince Street, the lot is near the Main Street subway station, served by the 7 train. Tony Chen of Realport Group LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 175-foot-tall development will yield 87,830 square feet, with 46,907 square feet designated for commercial space, 40,733 square feet for residential space, and 188 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 60 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 678 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 145 enclosed parking spaces.
Ralph Kowalcyzk of Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in April for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
