The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Everly, a 49-story mixed-use building at 180 Ashland Place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Rockrose Development, the structure yields 609 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 171 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $64,766 to $227,500.

Amenities include concierge, pet-friendly policies, a dog park, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gym, spa, yoga and dance studio, media room, party room, storage, pool, and outdoor terrace with barbecue grills and prep kitchen. Residences are equipped with washers and dryers, hardwood floors, and dishwashers. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 80 percent of the AMI, there are 15 studios with a monthly rent of $1,793 for incomes ranging from $64,766 to $103,680; eight one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,918 for incomes ranging from $69,498 to $116,640; and two two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,292 for incomes ranging from $83,520 to $140,000.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are 89 studios with a monthly rent of $2,800 for incomes ranging from $99,292 to $168,480; 44 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,500 for incomes ranging from $123,738 to $189,540; and 13 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,399 for incomes ranging from $155,760 to $227,500.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than October 28, 2025.
