Construction is finished on Oliver on the Hudson, a new five-story residential building at 190 Chapel Avenue in the Port Liberté neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by national architecture and design firm KTGY and developed by The NRP Group in partnership with G&S Investors and Rockwood Capital, the structure yields 401 rental units in studio to three-bedroom layouts. The 2.7-acre waterfront property is located alongside the Liberty National Golf Course and is bounded by Chapel Avenue, Constellation Place, and the Hudson River Walkway.

Most units come with private balconies offering skyline views of New York City and the harbor. Interior finishes by Bergmeyer include fully equipped kitchens with stainless steel GE Appliances, sleek graphite fixtures, polished quartz countertops, porcelain tile backsplashes, and modern flat-panel cabinetry. All units include full-size front-load washers and dryers and oversized, backlit mirrors. Select homes with larger floor plans feature cathedral ceilings, breakfast bars or islands, wine and beverage centers, and walk-in closets.

The property features two landscaped interior courtyards, including one with an outdoor swimming pool and cabana house. Other amenities include lounge areas and walking paths, and a fifth-floor sky lounge with an outdoor terrace. There is also a clubhouse with indoor amenities such as a multi-level fitness center, mezzanine yoga and cardio studios, an interactive activity zone, a catering kitchen with a private dining room, coworking spaces, and a 24/7 package concierge system.

The development also includes a 602-space parking garage, 201 bicycle parking spots, a commuter lounge, and secure bike storage. Pet owners can use an on-site pet spa and dog park.

Financing for the project included senior construction loans from Citizens and Fifth Third Bank, with Rockwood Capital providing joint venture equity.

Nearby neighborhood amenities include Liberty State Park, the ferry to New York City via the Port Liberté Ferry Terminal, two Hudson-Bergen Light Rail stations, bike-friendly paths, and landscaped green spaces that connect to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. The property also features immediate vehicular access to Interstate 78.
