Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 123-12 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. Located between Rockaway Boulevard and 123rd Avenue, the lot is closest to the Sutphin Boulevard subway station, served by the F train. Hershy Silberstein of Blue Shine Builders Inc., DBA Blue Sky, is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 51-foot-tall development will yield 78,066 square feet, with 67,770 square feet designated for residential space and 10,296 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 56 residences with a total 112 units on the property, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 605 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 49 enclosed parking spaces and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Nikolai Katz Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed earlier this month for the structure on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
