So the gentrification is moving up from Mott Haven and Melrose. I think it’s a good thing. The 60’s and 70’s The southern half of Bronx was deliberately turned into a place to warehouse poor people from Manhattan. Good to see income diversification taking place
Co-op City and the migration of long term residents from the South Bronx to newer middle class housing in the NE Bronx had a lot to do with it. There was no municipal conspiracy to gather poor folks in the South Bronx, that’s just the consequences of the market.
Let’s not forget that large swaths of the South Bronx were destroyed to make room for NYCHA
299 East 161 Street Bronx ny in the grand concourse section. Studio or one bedroom apartment am independent responsible with great references
Why would anyone need to go to Housing Connect to rent an apartment for $3000 a monthly rent.
They could just go to sent apartment complex in prime neighborhoods to get that type of housing.
They are rent stabilized.
The worst place to live. The traffic is horrible. Don’t even think about a car. No parking at all.
Interested..I’m in housing connect
