Wonder Works Construction Corp. is planning to add a fifth floor to the existing four-story townhouse at 357 West 17th Street, in southern Chelsea, and transform the building into a 12,000 square-foot mansion, the New York Post reports. Andres Escobar is designing, and the residence will feature three terraces and a landscaped roof deck, among a slew of other amenities. The building was acquired last winter for $9.35 million, and completion is expected in April of 2016. Wai Man Chow’s Workshop Design + Architecture is the architect of record.
