510 Coney Island Avenue [Kensington BK]: A 2.5-story structure has been demolished to make-way for a five-story, 757-seat grade school located at 510 Coney Island Avenue, in northern Kensington. Construction is scheduled “to begin this Spring,” and completion is slated for September 2017.

8 West 70th Street [West Side Rag]: Scaffolding has shrouded the four-story building — at 8 West 70th Street, on the Upper West Side — ahead of impending demolition to make way for a nine-story, four-unit mixed-use building, filed early last year, and approved by the LPC in December. A completion date has yet to be announced.

91-41 63rd Drive [DNAinfo]: Local officials are vying to secure funding for the expansion of the existing single-story, 7,500 square-foot Rego Park Library at 91-41 63rd Drive, in Rego Park. An expanded structure would “take several years to design and build.”

327 East 9th Street

327 East 9th Street [EV Grieve]: A six-story, two-unit residential building, to measure 7,200 square feet, has topped-out at 327 East 9th Street, in the East Village. Issac & Stern Architects is designing, and completion can likely be expected later this year.

23-30 Borden Avenue [Queens Courier]: Cushman & Wakefield are marketing the two-story, 276,700 square-foot manufacturing building at 23-30 Borden Avenue, in Long Island City. The site has a total of roughly “406,500 buildable square feet under current zoning.”

28-10 Jackson Avenue [The Court Square Blog]: Since demolition wrapped up at Tishman Speyer’s site spanning 28-10 – 28-34 Jackson Avenue, in Long Island City, axonometric depictions of the planned three-tower, 1,789-unit mixed-use development have been posted on-site. Completion is anticipated for June 2018.
