340 4th Avenue [Brownstoner]: BYP Capital has topped-out their three-story, nearly 11,500 square-foot mixed-use commercial and academic building at 340 4th Avenue, in Gowanus. Bricolage Designs is the architect, and completion is expected later this year.

470 4th Avenue

470 4th Avenue [Brownstoner]: Excavation has kicked-off at 470 4th Avenue, in Gowanus, where Adam America and other developers are planning a 12-story, 105-unit mixed-use building measuring nearly 84,500 square feet. Completion is expected in early 2016.

227 4th Avenue [The Brooklyn Paper]: Since Greystone’s acquisition of the two-story landmarked building at 227 4th Avenue, in Park Slope, for $7.6 million, plans are moving ahead “to restore the Lyceum’s façade and convert the inside to condos.” The full scope of plans have yet to be revealed, and the LPC’s approval is required.

West Village Park

West Village Park [Wall Street Journal]: Rudin Management Co. “has broken ground” on the triangular, 16,000 square-foot West Village Park, bound by 7th and Greenwich avenues and West 12th Street. M. Paul Friedberg & Partners is designing the park area, and opening is scheduled for “this summer.”

101 Morningside Avenue [Commercial Observer]: Azimuth Development Group has “secured a $20 million construction loan” to make way for their 11-story, 22-unit mixed-use building to span 99-103 Morningside Avenue, in Harlem. Filed last year, demolition of the existing structures is imminent, and completion is expected “at the end of 2016.”

28-02 42nd Road

28-02 42nd Road [The Court Square Blog]: Renderings have been posted on-site for a large and mysterious mixed-use high-rise building that will span the vacant lots of 28-02 – 28-06 42nd Road, in Long Island City. Completion is anticipated for Fall 2017, according to on-site signage, and Hiwin USA LLC is developing.
