138 East 50th StreetCeruzzi Properties has filed applications to begin excavation of their 52-story hotel tower at 138-146 East 50th Street, in Midtown East. Demolition of an existing seven-story parking garage began last week, per notifications. Foundation and superstructure work permits have also been submitted.

509 West 38th StreetIliad Development has filed to begin excavation of their 30-story tower at 509-517 West 38th Street, on the Far West Side. New building applications were filed earlier this month to construct a mixed-use building of 220,879 square-feet, containing 225 residential units, 29,661 square feet of community space, and 13,636 square feet of commercial.

Brooklyn: 

43 Walton StreetWalton St. Plaza LLC has filed applications to construct a three-story mixed-use project of 7,426 square feet, at 43 Walton Street in Williamsburg. The building will be split between one residence and a community facility; Panos Vikatos is designing. The site currently holds a one-story warehouse, which was approved for demolition in April. The adjacent lot of 45 Walton is being developed by Rabsky Development into a three-story residential building for one family.

340 Neptune AvenueAn anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct a seven-story and 22-unit residential building — spanning 19,774 square feet — at 340 Neptune Avenue in Brighton Beach. The site is currently vacant and primed for development; Zproekt is designing.

Queens:

2-20 148th StreetLuigi Caliendo & Sons has filed applications to construct a two-story, single-family house of 4,219 square feet at 2-20 148th Street, in Whitestone. Demolition of the the current two-story building was approved in May; Frank J. Quatela is designing.

143-14 Quince AvenueThe owner of 143-14 – 143-16 Quince Avenue — in East Flushing — has filed applications to construct a two-story and two-unit residential building of 3,000 square feet. Demolition of a existing two-story wood-framed structure was approved in June.

41 West Market StreetBreezy Point Cooperative has filed applications to construct a single-family, three-story dwelling of 1,856 square feet at 41 West Market Street, in Breezy Point. Demolition of an existing one-story structure was approved in April.

59-22 55th StreetThe property owner of 59-22 55th Street — a deteriorating structure in Maspeth — has filed applications to construct a one-story warehouse of nearly 2,000 square-feet; permits for demolition of the existing structure have not yet been filed.

Staten Island:

Burgundy Loop Development: Baiano Development has filed applications to build 13 single-family abodes spanning the newly paved Burgundy Loop — from 74-88 and 73-81 — in Clifton. Each walk-up will span two floors, with the exception of 74 Burgundy, which will be three floors. Moss & Sayad Architects are designing.
