655 West 187th StreetDeveloper HAP has filed to begin foundation and superstructure work on their eight-story, 57,951 square-foot mixed-use building at 655 West 187th Street, in Washington Heights. Previously revealed on YIMBY, verticality is imminent; the completion date is unknown.

Bronx:

1282 Shakespeare Avenue“Postgraduate Center for Mental” has filed applications to construct a nine-story and 60-unit community facility at the vacant lot of 1282 Shakespeare Avenue, in Highbridge. The building will span 42,111 square-feet, and is being designed by Harden+Van Arnam Architects.

Brooklyn:

608 Ocean AvenueApplications have been submitted for an eight-story and 31-unit residential building of 22,468 square-feet at 608 Ocean Avenue, in Flatbush-Ditmas Park. The lot previously held a two-story structure that was approved for demolition in March; Bricolage Designs is the architect of record.

Queens:

14-33 31st AvenueSithonia LLC has filed applications to construct a five-story and 56-unit residential building of 41,000 square-feet at 14-33 31st Avenue, in Astoria. Demolition of the existing one-story warehouse was signed off this February; Gerald J. Caliendo is designing.

142-22 37th AvenueWen Flushing LLC has filed to begin “structural and excavation work” in conjunction with a six-story, 13,646 square-foot community building — filed back in 2012 — at 142-22 37th Avenue, in Flushing. The site’s previous structure was dilapidated, and demolition was approved in March.

169-08 Union TurnpikeApplications have been filed to construct a single family, two-story abode of 3,484 square-feet at 169-08 Union Turnpike, in Hillcrest. Demolition of the existing two-story home and garage was approved in April.

83-43 247th StreetThe owner of 83-43 247th Street, in Bellerose Floral Park, has filed applications to construct a single-family, two-story home of 2,500 square-feet, in addition to a detached garage. The lot is currently home to a single-story structure, and demolition permits have yet to be filed.

7 Irving WalkBreezy Point Cooperative has filed applications to construct a single-family, two-story abode of 1,600 square-feet at 7 Irving Walk, in Breezy Point.
