Located at the intersection of Battery Avenue and 86th Street, the corner lot is a short walk west to the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the R train. Xiaojun Chen under the Sunshine Brooklyn LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel is now officially open and arrives as the brand’s premiere hotel in the neighborhood. At 430 feet tall, it is also one of the tallest structures ever constructed in Chelsea. The property is located at 112 West 25th Street and replaced the long-running Antiques Garage indoor flea market, considered one of the go-to destinations for antique shoppers. The Pestana NY East Hotel at 23 East 39th Street celebrated its grand opening earlier this week. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect, the building stands 27 stories above Midtown, Manhattan. The 40,000 square foot structure contains 96 guest rooms, a fitness center, a bar, and an outdoor patio. Select guest suites offer balconies with clear views of the Empire State Building. At the ground floor, the lobby of includes a fireplace and a small lounge for breakfast and casual dining.
