Grace Baptist Church to Build a 14-Story Mixed-Use Affordable Housing Building in Mount Vernon

The Grace Baptist Church has big plans for the adjacent empty lot at Sixth Avenue and Second Street in Mount Vernon. Proposals are in the works for a 14-story building known as The Grace, yielding 267 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, parking below grade for 130 vehicles, ground-floor space for church conference rooms, and a catering hall. SLCE Architects is responsible for the design.

Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,258 to $167,570.

The Department of City Planning is reviewing proposals to construct a 4.65-acre mixed-use affordable housing development near the Metro-North Station in Wakefield, The Bronx. New Renderings Revealed for Mixed-Use Residential Property at 45 Dash Place in Riverdale, The Bronx

Renderings from Kutnicki Bernstein Architects reveal a modified exterior design for 45 Dash Place, a rental building under construction in the Riverdale section of The Bronx. The new illustrations depict ornamental masonry and dark metal framing surrounding all windows facing Dash Place, similarly-hued metal canopies and pin signage above entrances at both the front and rear elevations, and a three-story community facility that will function as a school.
