The site is in a prime location for retail, with proximity to the Fulton Street Station, the World Trade Center’s Oculus transit hub, as well as several other subway stops for just about every subway line that runs through Manhattan. The site is right on the southern tip of Steven Flanders Square, home to City Hall.

Now Curbed has a rendering of the design by ZH Architects, and updates about the structure, which is being developed by Alex Bernstein. The building is set to be Manhattan’s second-tallest to satisfy passive house standards, which require minimal energy output to maintain comfortable internal temperatures.

Permits have been filed for the twelve-story structure at 547 West 47th street, in Hell’s Kitchen. The site is one avenue east of the Hudson River Greenway, and three avenues west from the 50th street subway station, serviced by the A, C, and E trains.
