Following several years of development, EPIRE has revealed the final architectural renderings of 144 First Street in Jersey City. Located in the city’s Powerhouse Arts District, the 13-story building will contain a mix of residential and retail area.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1041 Ogden Avenue in Highbridge, The Bronx. Located between West 164th Street and West 165th Street, the interior lot is closest to the 167th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Kyle Ng under the Ogden Avenue Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Plans for 343 Madison Avenue in Midtown East unveil the substantial size and scope of the supertall to take the place of the former Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) headquarters. Boston Properties is developing the project that would comprise 925,630 square feet and rise 1,050 feet tall, with Class A office space above ground-floor retail. The building would yield 5,357 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, 832,613 square feet of commercial office space above, and 84,593 square feet of dedicated mechanical space. The tower would sit on a podium 301 feet tall.
Tishman Speyer has announced an expansion of its proprietary co-working brand, which is set to debut in two new Midtown locations. Known simply as Studio, the spaces will be located within Rockefeller Center at 1230 Avenue of the Americas and 300 Park Avenue.
Full demolition permits have been filed for 4023 and 4037 Broadway, 600 West 170th Street, and 601 West 169th Street in Washington Heights. According to the filing, the four adjacent sites are owned by New York Presbyterian under Royal Charter Properties. The assemblage currently houses three mixed-use buildings with 13 residential units and 11 commercial units and was built in 1950.
