CetraRuddy’s 22 Chapel Street Nears Completion in Downtown Brookyln

Construction is nearing completion on 22 Chapel Street, a 20-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Delshah Capital and OTL Enterprises, the 211-foot-tall reinforced concrete structure spans 133,181 square feet and will yield 180 apartments, of which 25 will be designated for affordable housing. The property is also reported to contain a branch of START Treatment & Recovery Center, New York’s largest independent drug treatment agency. Titanium Construction Services Inc. is the general contractor for the development, which is being built between Flatbush Avenue Extension to the east, Chapel Street to the north, Cathedral Place to the south, and Jay Street to the west.

The Durst Organization has released the first renderings of a new public outdoor space at the base of Sven, the developer’s latest residential skyscraper at 29-37 41st Avenue in Long Island City. Designed by Fogarty Finger Architects and developed by Circle F Capital, the 103,000-square-foot structure will yield 58 condominiums in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, along with 19,000 square feet of commercial office and retail space on the lower levels. MJM Associates Construction LLC is the general contractor and 1 Park Row Development LLC is the owner of the property, which sits at the intersection of Park Row and Ann Street. 1 Park Row received a $90 million construction loan from Los Angeles-based Parkview Financial last summer.
