One High Line Resumes Exterior Work at 76 Eleventh Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan

Exterior work has resumed on One High Line, a pair of 26- and 36-story mixed-use towers at 76 Eleventh Avenue in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of Chelsea. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group and developed by Witkoff Group, the 900,000-square-foot complex will yield 236 condominium units, 137 hotel rooms, 85,000 square feet of retail space, and a public plaza. Steve Witkoff purchased the property, formerly known as The XI, in a foreclosure sale for $900 million and partnered with Access Industries and Monroe Capital to complete the stalled project. Gilles & Boissier and Gabellini Sheppard Associates are the interior designers and Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the High Line-adjacent property, which is bound by Tenth Avenue to the east, West Street to the west, West 17th Street to the south, and West 18th Street to the north.

Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by 144 Barrow Street LLC, the 24,800-square-foot structure will yield 16 residential units and 1,800 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Titanium Construction Services is the general contractor for the property, which is located on a relatively narrow 5,000-square-foot site bound by Christopher Street to the north and Barrow Street to the south.

Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by ZD Jasper Realty and Ascent Development, the 229-foot-tall structure will yield 62,000 square feet with 82 residential units averaging 750 square feet, as well as ground-floor retail space and 34 parking spaces. Tom Wu under Davis Street Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications, Modern Spaces is marketing the homes, and King Contracting Group is in charge of brickwork and the roofing for the property, which is located off Jackson Avenue between Pearson Street and Davis Street.
