The Doe Fund has received Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for Muller Residences, a four-story affordable and supportive housing development for veterans. Located at 555 Nereid Avenue in The Bronx’s Wakefield neighborhood, the 51,000-square-foot building brings 90 units of affordable and supportive housing to the local community, with 54 residences allocated for formerly homeless military veterans. MHG Architects is responsible for the design.

Hollien Architects and developed by South Side Units, the building yields 25,880 square feet. Move-Ins Begin This Week for 1325 Jerome Avenue in Mount Eden, The Bronx

Tenants are expected to begin moving in this week at 1325 Jerome Avenue, a new affordable and supportive housing building in The Bronx’s Mount Eden. The Doe Fund has received a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for its largest residential development, which will serve the formerly homeless and local individuals and families from the NYCHA waitlist.

Designed by Z Architecture and developed by Tower Real Estate Investments, the six-story mixed-use building yields 44 residential units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 14 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $68,229 to $167,570.

540 Waverly Avenue Tops Out in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 540 Waverly Avenue, a nine-story mixed-use building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects and developed by The Daten Group, the 117,000-square-foot structure will yield 135 rental apartments spread across 91,000 square feet, including 40 units reserved for affordable housing, as well 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a 56-vehicle parking garage. The property is located at the corner of Atlantic and Waverly Avenues.

Governor Cuomo Announces Redevelopment Plans for Kingsboro Psychiatric Center Campus in East Flatbush, Brooklyn

This week, Governor Cuomo announced a $400 million plan to redevelop 7.2 acres of the Kingsboro Psychiatric Center campus in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. When complete, the medical campus will also include 900 affordable homes, public outdoor spaces, a full-sized basketball court, urban farms, a greenhouse, and dedicated space for community programming.
