Available on NYC Housing Connect are 10 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $60,000 to $187,330.
Permits have been filed for a 10-story mixed-use building at 280 Eighth Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan. Located between 24th and 25th Streets, the lot is two blocks from the 23rd Street subway station, serviced by the C and E trains. Maria Rosenfeld of Red Apple Group under the CATS 280 Eighth Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The newly constructed 1998 Second Avenue is expected to begin occupancy in September. Developed by Bolivar Development and designed by GF55 Architects, the 12-story structure will bring 164 rental units and an expansive amenity package to Second Avenue between 102nd and 103rd Streets. Leasing is being handled by Cantor Pecorella with pricing starting at $2,400 per month.
Construction is wrapping up on Eastlight, a 34-story residential tower at 200 East 34th Street in Kips Bay. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by 200 East 34th LLC, the 388-foot-tall structure will yield 135,094 square feet with 144 condominiums and 2,992 square feet of commercial space on the lower levels. Noble Construction Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 34th Street.
Construction has officially broken ground at Edgemere Commons, a new 11-building affordable housing complex located on the former Peninsula Hospital complex in Edgemere, Queens. The complex spans 9.35 acres and will eventually comprise 2.2 million square feet with 2,050 affordable and supportive housing units.
