Five-Story, 260-Unit Residential Project Proposed At 1 Harrison Avenue, Harrison, New Jersey

Paramus, N.J.-based Hornrock Properties is proposing a five-story, 260-unit residential building at 1 Harrison Avenue, located on the corner of Dey Street in Harrison, New Jersey, across the Passaic River from downtown Newark. The project will include 267 off-street parking spaces, probably in the form of a parking garage, Jersey Digs reported. The site is largely vacant except for a defunct gas station and a dilapidated two-story warehouse. The Harrison Town Planning Board must approve the project. NJ Transit’s Newark Broad Street station is five blocks away.

Foundation work is now underway on the 38-story, 251-unit mixed-use project under development at 515 West 36th Street, to be located on the future corner of Hudson Boulevard in the Hudson Yards District. The site can be seen thanks to pictures taken by NY Construction Photography. The latest building permits indicate the tower will encompass 328,473 square feet and rise 418 feet to the roof, not including bulkhead elements.

Construction Wraps On 53-Story, 600-Unit Mixed-Use Building At 551 Tenth Avenue, Midtown West

Construction appears to be nearly complete now that façade installation has finished on the 53-story, 600-unit mixed-use building under development at 551 Tenth Avenue, located between West 40th and 41st streets in Midtown West. The latest photo was taken by NY Constuction Photography. The most recent building permits have the tower, dubbed 555TEN, measuring 712,416 square feet and standing 610 feet in height.


1133 Warburton Avenue

Two 10-Story Residential Buildings With 330 Units Top Out At 1133 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers

Construction has reportedly topped off on the pair of 10-story residential buildings under development at 1133 Warburton Avenue, located in the Greystone neighborhood in northwestern Yonkers. There will be 330 luxury rental apartments between the two buildings, dubbed River Tides at Greystone, Westfair reported. The units will range from studios to two-bedrooms, with amenities including a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and deck. Ginsburg Development Companies is the developer and Warshauer Mellusi Warshauer is the architect. Occupancy is expected in the spring of 2017. Metro-North Railroad’s Greystone station is a stone’s throw away.
