Yosef Yaakovzadeh, doing business as Green Builder’s NYC LLC, has filed applications for a three-story, two-unit residential building at 887 Cauldwell Avenue, in Morrisania. The new structure will measure 3,170 square feet in total, and the units will take on townhouse configurations, spanning through multiple floors. The developer also filed applications to renovate the existing three-story townhouse at 889 Cauldwell, which is situated on the same zoning lot. That will measure 2,715 square feet and will retain two residential units. Bakhtiar Shamloo’s Kew Gardens-based Tabriz Group Design is the architect of record.

Plans were filed yesterday to erect a seven-story apartment building at 917 Westchester Avenue and a six-story one at 940 Rogers Place, around the corner from the Intervale Avenue stop on the 2 and 5 trains.

Community Access has filed applications for a 14-story, 126-unit apartment building at 111 East 172nd Street, in Mount Eden, located a few blocks north of the 170th Street stops on the B, D, and 4 trains. The structure will measure 107,272 square feet in total, which means apartments will average 851 square feet apiece. Units will be rented at below-market rates, with some being designated for mental health and additions patients. Brooklyn-based Peter Woll is the architect of record. The block-thru site consists of a single-story building and a three-story townhouse, which first have to be demolished.

One of the buildings will measure 5,564 square feet while the other 5,476 square feet; across the development, units will average a rental-sized 690 square feet apiece. Flavio Barros’ Long Island City-based CB Engineering is the applicant of record, and the plot of land is currently vacant.
