Property owner Yair Bohadana, operating as an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for two four-story, four-unit residential buildings at 152 Sackman Street and 2441 Dean Street, in Ocean Hill, located five blocks south of the J, Z, L, A, and C trains, as well as the East New York LIRR station. Combined, the buildings will total 6,166 square feet, which means units will average a rental-sized 771 square feet. Bakhtiar Shamloo’s Kew Gardens-based Tabriz Group Design is the architect of record, and the site’s two-story predecessor was demolished by the HDP in 2005.

Property owner Yair Bohadana has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 869 East 175th Street, in Tremont, three blocks from the 174th Street stop on the 2 and 5 trains. The building will measure 7,000 square feet, and units will average 875 square feet. Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record, and the lot is currently vacant.

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Building Coming To 2110 Hughes Avenue, Belmont

Property owner Yair Bohadana, based in Morrisania, has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 2110 Hughes Avenue in Belmont, a few blocks away from the Bronx Zoo. The building will measure 5,520 square feet in total, and units will average a rental-sized 690 square feet each. The two fourth-floor units will also share an upper-level mezzanine, bringing the building’s roof to 51 feet. Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record, and the site’s four-story predecessor was demolished by the HPD in 2001.

The building will measure 5,324 square feet, which means units will average a rental-sized 665 square feet apiece. Queens-based Gerald Caliendo is the architect of record, and the site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 2001.
