The building will measure nearly 4,750 square feet, and Philip Toscano is designing. The existing two-story, two-unit townhouse passed pre-demolition inspection earlier in May.

Burnt-Out CitiStorage Warehouse Being Sold To Development Team, Williamsburg

Crain’s Business reports that Norman Brodsky is expecting to sell the burned-down warehouse located on Williamsburg’s northern waterfront, at 5 North 11th Street, to a pair of developers. Midtown Equities and East End Capital have reportedly signed a contract to purchase the site, but the exact price has yet to be revealed. The property is currently zoned for commercial and manufacturing use; 600,000 buildable square feet is available as-of-right.

Revealed: 782 Wythe Avenue, New Viznitz Congregation Synagogue in South Williamsburg

On the corner of Wythe Avenue and Rutledge Street, in South Williamsburg, a long-stalled development is finally getting underway at 782 Wythe Avenue. Permits were first filed nearly a decade ago in 2006, but applications for a gut-renovation and conversion were approved this past March, and now YIMBY has the first rendering of the project, which will transform an old commercial building into a synagogue for the Viznitz Congregation.
