Sales Bounce Back After Slow Start for 210 West 77th Street

Revealed by YIMBY last September, Naftali Group has redesigned the interiors of their under-construction 18-story, 25-condo-unit mixed-use building at 210 West 77th Street, on the Upper West Side. After the initial sales launch failed, changes were implemented to include more amenities, and now almost half of the units have gone into contract, reports Crain’s Business. Occupancy is expected in the Fall of 2016.

New Windows Hamper Landmarks Approval Of Christ Church Conversion at 361 Central Park West

The plan to convert a landmark former Upper West Side church into condominiums is still a no-go at the Landmarks Preservation Commission, though there is now really only one sticking point – the proposed windows on the east side of the building. The building in question is the former First Church of Christ, Scientist of New York City at 361 Central Park West (a.k.a. 1 West 96th Street). The original structure was completed by Carrére & Hastings in 1903.
