The Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), Housing Development Corporation, and NYCHA have announced plans to construct Sol on the Park, a 195-unit affordable housing property in the Morrisania section of The Bronx. Located at the corner of St. Paul’s Place and Park Avenue, the project sits within the Morris II public housing development.
Construction began last week on 722 Chancellor Avenue in Irvington, New Jersey. Developed through a partnership with The NRP Group and northern New Jersey developer Adenah Bayoh, the five-story building will add 56 affordable housing units to the community. OCA Architects is responsible for the design of the mid-rise, energy-efficient development.
A new three-building residential complex has broken ground at 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, New York. Designed by Cube 3 Architecture and developed in collaboration by The NRP Group and RPW Group, the complex is situated on a 70-acre site that previously served as IBM’s world headquarters.
