Demolition is complete at 45-03 23rd Street, the site of a 544-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in Hunters Point, Queens. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital under the Court Square 45th Avenue LLC, the 50-story structure will yield a mix of condominiums, commercial space, and communal space. The site is located along 23rd Street between Jackson Avenue and 45th Avenue, directly to the east of the elevated subway tracks of the 7 train.

BKSK Architects will again appear before the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) seeking approvals to construct a sizable commercial expansion and restoration in Manhattan’s Gansevoort Historic District, also known as the Meatpacking District. The historic row townhomes carry an address of 44-54 Ninth Avenue and 351-355 West 14th Street at the corner of 14th Street and Ninth Avenue.

Construction is nearing completion on The Dime, a 22-story mixed-use building at 209 Havemeyer Street in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Alternately addressed as 275 South 5th Street, the structure is designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture and is being developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Holdings. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling all leasing for the 177 rental units, which launched in May. Grain Collective is the landscape architect and 1 Oak Contracting is the general contractor for the project.

Dubbed “The Dime,” 277 South Fifth Street will be a new 264-foot tall residential tower in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The redevelopment of the Dime Savings Bank in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, will result in one of the neighborhood’s tallest buildings, and today YIMBY has fresh renderings for the project, designed by Fogarty Finger Architects. Yesterday, The Real Deal reported that Charney Construction & Development and Tavros Capital Partners have acquired a $150 million loan to fund construction and renovation work on the historic bank and new 22-story tower. The developers purchased the site in March of 2016 for $80 million.
