Rendering Revealed for 62-66 North Third Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn

A new rendering is out for 62 and 66 North Third Street, two six-story mixed-use buildings in Brooklyn’s flourishing Williamsburg neighborhood. The nearest subway access is the L train’s first stop in Brooklyn, the Bedford Station. A schematic drawing has been revealed of the six-story, 15-unit residential building planned at 303 West 137th Street, in Harlem. Demolition is also underway on the site’s former three-story townhouse, Harlem+Bespoke reports. The project is technically an expansion of the existing building and the foundation will be retained. The project will have 14,324 square feet of residential space, which means the units should average 955 square feet apiece. ICER Real Estate is the developer and SRA Architecture + Engineering is the architect of record. Completion is expected in the first half of 2017.

Two-Story, 22,000-Square-Foot Retail Building Planned at 114 West 125th Street, Harlem

Meatpacking District-based Saab Management Company has filed applications for a new two-story, 22,347-square-foot commercial-retail building at 114 West 125th Street, in Harlem. The structure will feature retail space on both floors, with tenant storage space located in the cellar level. Adrian R. Figueroa’s Hudson Square-based SRA Architecture + Engineering is the architect of record. The project would rise on a 30-foot-wide, 3,000-square-foot plot currently occupied by a dilapidated retail structure, most recently leased to Olympic Town. Demolition permits were filed in February. The site is adjacent to the newly completed six-story retail complex at 100 West 125th Street.

Construction Wraps on Seven-Story, 37-Unit Residential Building at 155 Attorney Street, Lower East Side

Back in August of 2014, renderings were revealed of, and excavation work was imminent for, the seven-story, 37-unit residential building under development at 155 Attorney Street, on the Lower East Side. Now, Bowery Boogie reports that the project has topped out and the windows have been installed. The rest of the façade appears to not yet have been installed, going by how the building looks in renderings. The 30,000-square-foot building will likely feature rental apartments, as its residential units should average 811 square feet apiece. There will be five “recreational rooms,” bicycle storage, and a storage room in the cellar. Midtown Equities is the developer. SRA Architecture + Engineering is the latest architect of record with Studio V Architecture having  been replaced sometime during construction. Completion is likely later this year.
