Stock N’ Lock, doing business as SNL Storage, has filed applications for a two-story, 49,560-square-foot self-storage facility at 1430 Bruckner Boulevard, located between Bronx River and Close avenues in the East Bronx’s Soundview section. The new building will stand 29 feet in height and host 25,625 square feet of commercial space. Self-storage units will be located on the cellar, ground, and second floors. There will also be two loading berths and two off-street parking spaces. Virginia-based Butz Wilbern LTD is the applicant of record. The 25,639-square-foot lot is occupied by a few small warehouses. Demolition permits were filed in September.

Four-Story, 72,500-Square-Foot Self-Storage Facility Planned At 4139 Boston Road, Eastchester

SNL Storage, doing business as an anonymous White Plains, N.Y.-based LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, 72,487-square-foot self-storage building at 4139 Boston Road, located in the Bronx neighborhood of Eastchester, in a largely industrial area. The 60-foot-tall project will contain 54,990 square feet of commercial space, which is the area that can be rented for storage. There will be storage space in the cellar and all four of the above-ground levels. In addition to accessory office space, there will be three off-street parking spaces and three loading berths. Frank G. Relf’s Melville, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The site is currently occupied by a single-story commercial building.


163 Sackman Street

Four-Story, 62,000-Square-Foot Storage Facility Filed at 163 Sackman Street, Brownsville

SNL Storage has filed applications for a four-story, 61,951-square-foot storage facility at 163 Sackman Street, located on the corner of East New York Avenue in Brownsville. The facility will contain 33,324 square feet of commercial storage units across four above-grade levels and two bel0w-grade levels. Accessory offices will be located on the ground floor, and two parking spaces and two loading berths will facilitate the transport process. Jack Wilbern’s Virginia-based architecture firm Butz • Wilbern is the architect of record. The 16,667-square-foot corner site is currently vacant. The Broadway Junction stop on the A, C, J, L, and Z trains is six blocks away.
