Affordable Housing Developers Granted $7.85M in Financing to Complete 178 Warburton at The Ridgeway in Yonkers

Developers behind a new eight-story affordable housing building in Yonkers recently secured more than $7.85 million in construction financing to complete the project. Known as 178 Warburton at The Ridgeway, the development will contain 81 mixed-income rental apartments for households between 30 percent and 90 percent of the area median income.

Brooklyn Point’s Exterior Work Reaches Final Stages in Downtown Brooklyn

Exterior work is wrapping up on Extell‘s Brooklyn Point, a 68-story residential skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Alternately addressed as 1 City Point and 138 Willoughby Street, the 720-foot-tall tower currently stands as the tallest building in the borough. The project, which is the third and final component in the City Point complex, is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox with SLCE Architects as the architect of record, and will yield 458 units with interior design by Katherine Newman. Homes range from studios to three-bedroom layouts with pricing from $850,000 to nearly $4 million.

Affordable Housing Lottery Launches for Arthur Avenue Senior Apartments in Tremont, The Bronx

The affordable housing lottery is now open for Arthur Avenue Senior Apartments, a nine-story senior living development at 600 East 179th Street in Tremont, The Bronx. Developed by Foxy Management in partnership with Hebrew Home at Riverdale under HPD’s Senior Affordable Rental Apartments program, the 130,000-square-foot building is designed by SLCE Architects and will yield a total 176 units in a mix of studios and one-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 122 apartments for senior residents at 30 and 50 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $0 to $51,200.
