VU Completes Construction at 368 Third Avenue in Kips Bay, Manhattan

Construction is complete on VU, a 36-story residential tower at 368 Third Avenue in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of Kips Bay. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Minrav Development, the 145,000-square-foot structure yields 100 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts and duplex penthouses with interiors designed by Paris Forino. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is exclusively handling the marketing and sales for the property, which is located on Third Avenue between East 26th and East 27th Streets.


611 West 56th Street Wraps Up Construction in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Exterior work is complete on 611 West 56th Street, a 35-story residential tower in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza with SLCE as the architect of record and developed by Sumaida + Khurana and LENY, the 450-foot-tall structure will yield 77 units with interiors designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates. Homes come in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as duplex “maisonettes,” full-floor homes, and a grand penthouse. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is alternately addressed as 823 Eleventh Avenue and is located at the corner of West 56th Street and Eleventh Avenue.

Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Welltower and Hines, the 109,315-square-foot structure will yield 162 units averaging 674 square feet, with half reserved for seniors with memory and cognitive disorders. The property will also offer supportive programming with a focus on memory care. Hunter Robert Construction Group is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Broadway and West 85th Street.

Construction has passed the halfway mark on 1841 Broadway, a 25-story residential tower on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure will yield 180,813 square feet with 173 market-rate and affordable housing units, as well as 11,741 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.
